LetMeHandle has not launched yet. These terms describe how the service is meant to work. We will update them before the app is available, and the date above will change when we do.
Agreeing to these terms
By using the LetMeHandle app or service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use LetMeHandle.
What LetMeHandle does
LetMeHandle gives you an assistant that answers phone calls for you. It deals with routine callers, turns away calls you do not want, and rings you when a call needs you. It follows the hours, contacts and rules you set in the app.
Your account
- You sign in with a phone number you own or are allowed to use.
- Keep your phone and sign-in codes safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your local law requires.
Using it responsibly
You agree not to use LetMeHandle to:
- break any law, including laws about calls, recording, consent and telemarketing where you live
- deceive, harass, threaten or impersonate anyone
- make or answer calls for a number that is not yours to manage
- interfere with the service, get around its limits, or access other people's data
Some places have rules about automated or assisted calls. It is your responsibility to use LetMeHandle in a way that is allowed where you and your callers are.
The assistant can make mistakes
The assistant uses AI. It can mishear a caller, misjudge a call, or give an incomplete summary. Check the call details in the app for anything important.
- Not for emergencies. Do not rely on LetMeHandle for emergency calls or time-critical situations. If you might receive an urgent call, keep those contacts marked as important so their calls reach you.
- What the assistant says to a caller follows your settings, but it is not legal, medical or financial advice from us.
Your content
Your preferences, contacts, call details, transcripts and summaries belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete calls or your whole account in the app.
Open source
The LetMeHandle code is available under the MIT License. These terms cover the service we run. If you run the code yourself, the licence applies to the code, and you are responsible for your own setup and providers.
The service may change
LetMeHandle is new and still changing. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We will try to give notice of changes that affect you.
Ending your use
You can stop using LetMeHandle and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk.
No warranty
LetMeHandle is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right for your needs.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for missed or mishandled calls, or for indirect or consequential losses from using LetMeHandle. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and its date. For important changes we will also tell you in the app. If you keep using LetMeHandle after a change, you accept the new terms.
